Annual checkups are non-negotiable. Last time they caught early dental junk starting so now dental treats are a thing. Indoor cats still need flea stuff cuz I track it in on my shoes from walking the dog down the block sometimes. Hairballs suck—pumpkin puree from the grocery store helps alot.

Whiskers ignores his $80 cat tree and lives for cardboard boxes. I buy Amazon ones and he sits in the empty box like its a palace. Laser pointers are fun but dont do it too long or they get pissed when nothing gets caught. I put bird feeders outside the window so he can bird-watch from his perch—best free entertainment ever.
Litter is unscented clumping for me. Scoop everyday or it smells like regret. Tried crystal litter once and he straight up peed on my favorite rug instead. If they avoid the box go to vet first—could be UTI or just mad at you for leaving on vacation that one time.
